## The plan

### Day 1 — The Central Heartland

- Arrival at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA)
- Transfer to Sigiriya or Dambulla through the tropical interior (4-5 hours)
- Optional afternoon visit to the Dambulla Cave Temple
- Evening rest at Palwehera Village Resort

### Day 2 — Rock Fortresses and Mist Towers

## The fine print

**Cancellation Policy**

Cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival: 10% of total package. Less than 30 days: 50% of total package. Less than 21 days: 100% of total package. During Super Peak periods (Nov 1-Mar 31 and Aug 1-31), 100% cancellation fee applies if cancelled less than 30 days prior. Any booking for peak periods or long weekends is non-refundable.

**Travel Terms**

Standard check-in is 14:00 and check-out is 11:00. Alcohol is not served on Poya Days (Full Moon) or other government-prohibited holidays. Once reconfirmed, 100% cancellation applies if cancelled less than 24 days before arrival. Vehicle availability is from 08:00 to 20:00.

## Questions

**What is the policy for children?**

Children below 4.99 years of age stay free of charge when sharing a bed with parents. Children above 12 years are considered adults.

**Are there any extra charges for airport transfers?**

If your flight lands in Colombo before 5 AM or after 7 PM, an extra supplement charge per person will be applied for the airport transfer.
