Terms & Conditions
About these Terms
Travel Packt is a community group-tour brand owned and operated by VEESURVE Experiences ("Travel Packt", "Company", "we", "us", "our").
These Terms apply to every person making, participating in or benefiting from a booking with Travel Packt, including the person making the payment and every traveller included in that booking, collectively referred to as the "Traveller".
By making any payment, submitting a booking form, accepting an itinerary, clicking an acceptance box, or confirming a booking through email, WhatsApp, website, payment link or any other electronic means, the Traveller confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms.
1. Nature of Community Group Tours
1.1 Travel Packt organises fixed-departure community group tours involving travellers who may not know each other before the tour.
1.2 Every group departure may be subject to operational requirements, including minimum participation, supplier availability, destination conditions, transportation availability, government permissions and commercial viability.
1.3 Making an advance ("token") payment reserves a provisional place on the tour. A booking shall be considered confirmed only after:
- receipt of the required payment;
- completion of the booking and traveller-information forms;
- acceptance of these Terms;
- completion of Travel Packt's community-fit review under Clause 2;
- confirmation of the departure by Travel Packt; and
- fulfilment of any passport, visa, medical, age or destination-specific requirements.
1.4 Tour descriptions, photographs, videos and promotional material are illustrative. Actual rooms, vehicles, views, menus, routes, activities and experiences may vary according to local conditions and supplier availability.
2. Community-Fit Review and Curated Groups
2.1 Travel Packt curates small groups. Every booking is provisional until confirmed by Travel Packt. As part of the booking process, Travel Packt reviews the traveller information provided at booking and may contact the Traveller, including by phone or WhatsApp, before confirming a place.
2.2 Travel Packt may, at its sole discretion and without obligation to give reasons, decline or cancel a booking before the departure is confirmed for that Traveller. In that event, all amounts paid by the Traveller for that booking shall be refunded in full to the original payment method, ordinarily within 5–7 working days of the decision.
2.3 A booking declined or cancelled under this Clause creates no liability for Travel Packt beyond the refund described in Clause 2.2.
3. Booking Advance (Token)
3.1 The booking advance, registration amount or token amount communicated for a tour reserves the Traveller's provisional place and is adjusted against the package price.
3.2 The advance is collected towards reservation of inventory, blocking of accommodation, transportation, experiences, administrative processing, marketing, tour management, supplier commitments and other costs incurred from the date of booking.
3.3 If the Traveller cancels the booking, changes their mind, or is unable to travel for any personal reason — including personal emergency, medical condition, employment obligation, leave rejection, examination, family event, relationship issue, financial difficulty, inability to obtain travel companions, or change in flight price — the advance is non-refundable and non-transferable, subject to Clause 6.
3.4 Failure to submit documents, complete forms or pay subsequent instalments by their due dates shall not entitle the Traveller to a refund of the advance.
3.5 For clarity: where the tour does not operate, or Travel Packt declines or cancels the booking under Clause 2, the advance is refunded in full as described in Clauses 2 and 6.
4. Package Price and Payment
4.1 The Traveller shall pay the package price according to the schedule communicated in the booking confirmation, invoice or itinerary.
4.2 Failure to pay any instalment by its due date may result in cancellation of the booking without further notice. Amounts already paid shall in that case be treated as a cancellation by the Traveller under Clause 5.
4.3 Travel Packt may charge interest, payment-gateway charges, bank charges or reasonable administrative charges for delayed or failed payments. Payment-gateway convenience fees charged by the payment processor are collected by the processor and are not refundable by Travel Packt.
4.4 Unless expressly included in writing, the package price does not include:
- domestic or international airfare;
- visa, passport or immigration expenses;
- travel insurance;
- meals and beverages not specified;
- personal expenses;
- tips and gratuities;
- tourism taxes, city taxes or resort fees payable locally;
- early check-in or late check-out;
- porterage and excess baggage;
- optional activities;
- pre-tour or post-tour accommodation;
- medical expenses; or
- expenses arising from disruption, delay or force-majeure events.
4.5 Prices may be revised before full payment due to changes in taxes, government levies, fuel prices, foreign-exchange rates, supplier tariffs, park fees, transportation costs or other circumstances beyond Travel Packt's reasonable control. The Traveller shall pay any notified increase by the specified deadline.
5. Cancellation by the Traveller
5.1 A cancellation will be valid only when received by Travel Packt in writing through its designated email address or official WhatsApp number.
5.2 The date on which Travel Packt receives the written cancellation shall be treated as the cancellation date.
5.3 The following cancellation terms shall apply to cancellation by the Traveller:
- Booking advance: non-refundable.
- Cancellation after partial payment: all amounts paid shall be non-refundable.
- Cancellation after full payment: the entire package amount shall be non-refundable.
- No-show, late arrival or failure to join: 100% cancellation charge.
- Early departure or voluntary withdrawal: no refund for any unused services.
- Failure to obtain passport, visa or permission: 100% cancellation charge.
- Denial of boarding, immigration refusal or deportation: no refund.
- Removal from the tour for misconduct: no refund.
5.4 The above amounts represent the agreed allocation of costs, supplier commitments, reserved capacity and administrative expenditure associated with fixed-departure group tours. They shall apply subject to mandatory provisions of applicable law.
5.5 Travel Packt may, entirely at its discretion and without creating a precedent, permit:
- substitution of another eligible traveller;
- transfer to another departure;
- issuance of limited travel credit; or
- recovery through travel insurance.
Any name change or substitution shall be subject to supplier approval, visa requirements, availability and payment of all additional costs.
6. Cancellation or Non-Operation by Travel Packt
6.1 Travel Packt may cancel, postpone, reschedule, merge or withdraw a group tour where it cannot reasonably or commercially operate the departure, including due to:
- insufficient confirmed participation;
- non-availability or cancellation by suppliers;
- unsafe destination conditions;
- adverse weather;
- political instability;
- government restrictions;
- epidemic or public-health concerns;
- transportation disruption;
- force majeure; or
- any circumstance affecting safety or operational viability.
6.2 Where a departure is not operated by Travel Packt, or a booking is declined or cancelled by Travel Packt under Clause 2, all amounts actually received by Travel Packt for that booking shall be refunded in full to the original payment method, ordinarily within 5–7 working days of the decision being communicated.
6.3 As an alternative to the refund in Clause 6.2, Travel Packt may offer — at the Traveller's option — a credit towards another Travel Packt group-tour departure commencing within six months. Such credit:
- shall be limited to the amount actually received by Travel Packt;
- may be used once;
- shall be subject to availability;
- shall not guarantee the same destination, price, duration or inclusions;
- shall require payment of any fare difference;
- shall ordinarily be issued in the original Traveller's name; and
- shall expire if not utilised within six months.
6.4 Travel Packt shall not be responsible for cancellation charges or losses relating to arrangements independently booked by the Traveller, including flights, trains, visas, insurance, airport transfers, pre-tour stays, post-tour stays, connecting travel, leave arrangements, foreign exchange, shopping or special events.
6.5 Travellers are advised not to purchase non-refundable flights or associated services until the departure has been reconfirmed by Travel Packt.
7. Itinerary Changes
7.1 The itinerary is indicative and may be modified before or during the tour because of weather, traffic, road closure, strikes, safety, supplier availability, government directions, local conditions or operational requirements.
7.2 Travel Packt may alter:
- the sequence of activities;
- accommodation;
- transportation;
- meals;
- sightseeing locations;
- activity providers;
- tour leaders;
- reporting times; or
- routing.
7.3 Travel Packt shall endeavour to provide a reasonably comparable alternative wherever practicable. A change that does not substantially reduce the overall character of the package shall not constitute cancellation and shall not entitle the Traveller to a refund.
7.4 Activities missed due to late arrival, personal choice, illness, weather, government restriction, traffic, closure, inadequate fitness or circumstances outside Travel Packt's control shall not be refunded.
8. Passports, Visas and Immigration
8.1 The Traveller is solely responsible for maintaining a valid passport, visa, permits, vaccination certificates, return tickets, sufficient funds and all documents required by airlines, immigration authorities and destination governments.
8.2 Any visa assistance provided by Travel Packt is administrative assistance only. Visa approval, processing time, validity, entries and immigration admission are controlled exclusively by the relevant authorities.
8.3 Travel Packt shall not be liable for visa refusal, delayed issuance, incorrect information supplied by the Traveller, denial of boarding, immigration refusal, deportation or additional expenses resulting from such events.
9. Health, Fitness and Travel Insurance
9.1 The Traveller must disclose any medical condition, disability, allergy, pregnancy, dietary restriction, mobility limitation, mental-health concern or medication requirement that may affect participation.
9.2 The Traveller is responsible for assessing whether they are medically and physically fit for the tour and its activities.
9.3 Travel Packt may refuse or discontinue participation where a Traveller's health or conduct may create a material risk to themselves or others.
9.4 Comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment, hospitalisation, evacuation, baggage, accidents, trip interruption and personal liability is strongly recommended. Failure to purchase insurance shall be entirely at the Traveller's risk.
9.5 Travel Packt is not a medical service provider and shall not be responsible for diagnosis, treatment or the adequacy of medical facilities at a destination.
10. Accommodation and Room Sharing
10.1 Accommodation shall be provided according to the room category specified in the package. Hotel classifications may differ between destinations.
10.2 Travellers selecting twin or shared accommodation may be paired with another traveller. Travel Packt does not guarantee compatibility, habits, preferences, sleeping patterns or personal conduct of roommates.
10.3 A Traveller requesting a private room shall pay the applicable single supplement.
10.4 Room upgrades, early check-in, late check-out, adjacent rooms, specific views, bed types and smoking preferences are subject to availability and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
11. Conduct and Community Standards
11.1 Every Traveller must behave respectfully towards fellow travellers, local communities, tour leaders, suppliers and staff.
11.2 Travel Packt may remove a Traveller from the tour, without refund, where the Traveller:
- engages in harassment, violence, bullying or abusive conduct;
- possesses or consumes illegal substances;
- repeatedly disrupts the group;
- damages property;
- disregards safety instructions;
- behaves in a sexually inappropriate manner;
- engages in unlawful activity;
- threatens the safety or comfort of others; or
- causes reputational or operational harm.
11.3 The removed Traveller shall bear all costs of alternative accommodation, transport, return travel, legal assistance and related arrangements.
11.4 Travel Packt is not responsible for personal relationships, disagreements or interactions between adult travellers, except to the extent intervention is reasonably required for safety.
12. Adventure Activities and Assumption of Risk
12.1 Travel may involve inherent risks, including road travel, trekking, water activities, wildlife, altitude, weather, nightlife, unfamiliar food, uneven terrain and limited medical access.
12.2 Participation in optional or adventure activities is voluntary and may require a separate waiver from the activity provider.
12.3 The Traveller accepts the ordinary and inherent risks associated with travel and shall comply with all safety instructions.
12.4 Travel Packt does not guarantee that any destination or activity will be free from risk, crime, illness, accident, natural hazards or disruption.
13. Third-Party Suppliers
13.1 Travel Packt coordinates services provided by independent third parties, including hotels, airlines, transporters, guides, restaurants, activity operators, cruise companies and destination-management companies.
13.2 These suppliers are independent contractors and are not employees, partners or agents of Travel Packt except to the limited extent specifically authorised.
13.3 Supplier services shall also be governed by the supplier's terms, check-in requirements, safety rules and cancellation policies.
13.4 Travel Packt shall not be liable for the independent acts, omissions, insolvency, operational failure or misconduct of a supplier, except to the extent liability cannot legally be excluded.
14. Flights, Baggage and Independent Arrangements
14.1 Unless flights are expressly included, the Traveller is solely responsible for booking flights that align with the tour reporting and departure schedule.
14.2 Travel Packt shall not be liable for airline delays, cancellations, schedule changes, baggage loss, missed connections, denied boarding or airline insolvency.
14.3 The Traveller must provide sufficient buffer time for connecting travel.
14.4 Personal belongings, passports, cash, jewellery, electronics and baggage remain under the Traveller's custody. Any loss must be reported directly to the relevant supplier, carrier, insurer or police authority.
15. Force Majeure
15.1 "Force Majeure" includes events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, fire, epidemic, pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, border closure, visa suspension, strikes, transport failure, cyberattack, utility failure, extreme weather or supplier shutdown.
15.2 Travel Packt shall not be treated as being in breach for delay, modification or non-performance caused by a Force Majeure event.
15.3 Additional expenses caused by Force Majeure, including extra accommodation, meals, transport, evacuation, quarantine, visa extension or revised flights, shall be borne by the Traveller unless expressly covered by the package, supplier or insurer.
15.4 Any refund or credit shall depend upon amounts actually recovered from suppliers and mandatory legal requirements.
16. Limitation of Liability
16.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Travel Packt, its owning entity, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, tour leaders, contractors and representatives shall not be liable for:
- indirect, consequential, exemplary or remote loss;
- loss of enjoyment, opportunity, business, income or reputation;
- emotional distress or inconvenience;
- independent bookings or commitments;
- loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by the Traveller;
- acts of governments, immigration authorities or suppliers;
- events beyond reasonable control; or
- acts or omissions of other travellers.
16.2 Travel Packt's aggregate contractual liability, where legally permissible, shall not exceed the amount actually paid to Travel Packt by the affected Traveller for the specific tour giving rise to the claim.
16.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability established by a competent authority for fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence or deficiency in service.
17. Indemnity
The Traveller shall indemnify Travel Packt and its associated persons against reasonable losses, claims, penalties, damages and expenses resulting from:
- breach of these Terms;
- unlawful conduct;
- property damage;
- injury caused to another person;
- incorrect or fraudulent documents;
- violation of supplier rules;
- undisclosed medical conditions; or
- claims made by persons included in the Traveller's booking.
18. Media and Photography
Travel Packt or its representatives may photograph or record group activities for trip documentation and promotional use. A Traveller who does not wish to appear in identifiable promotional material must notify Travel Packt in writing before departure. Travel Packt shall make reasonable efforts to respect such a request.
19. Complaints and Grievance Redressal
19.1 Any concern arising during the tour must be immediately reported to the tour leader or authorised representative so that reasonable corrective steps may be attempted.
19.2 Complaints submitted after the tour must be sent in writing within seven days of completion, together with supporting documents, photographs and receipts.
19.3 Failure to report a remediable issue during the tour may be considered while assessing the complaint, without affecting rights that cannot legally be waived.

20. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
20.1 These Terms and every booking shall be governed by the laws of India.
20.2 The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through written negotiations for a period of thirty days.
20.3 If the dispute remains unresolved, it shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended.
20.4 The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing. The arbitration shall be conducted in English.
20.5 Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights and the jurisdiction of statutory consumer authorities, courts having competent jurisdiction at Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or a booking.
20.6 Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from exercising any non-waivable remedy or approaching a competent consumer commission where permitted by applicable law.
21. General Provisions
21.1 Entire Agreement: The itinerary, invoice, booking confirmation, supplier conditions and these Terms constitute the complete agreement.
21.2 Priority: Where there is a conflict, destination-specific written terms shall apply to that booking, followed by the invoice, booking confirmation and these general Terms.
21.3 Amendments: Travel Packt may update these Terms prospectively. The version accepted on the booking date shall ordinarily govern that booking unless a change is required by law.
21.4 Severability: If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
21.5 No Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion shall not waive the right to enforce it later.
21.6 Assignment: The Traveller may not assign the booking without written approval. Travel Packt may assign or subcontract operational obligations to an affiliate or supplier.
21.7 Electronic Communication: Notices, invoices, confirmations and acceptances transmitted through email, website, WhatsApp, SMS or other electronic means shall be treated as valid communications.
21.8 Authority of Booking Person: A person booking for others confirms that they have authority to accept these Terms for every named Traveller and must communicate the Terms to them.
